"I thought it would be better to let people form their own opinions. But honestly, it doesn’t really make a difference. I’m not entirely sure how people perceive me now. The truth is, life with Kate is just like anyone else’s—pretty normal most of the time." A Holiday Tradition with a Personal Touch

Every year, Carole makes sure each of them has their very own Christmas tree. "It’s so they can decorate it themselves," she explained to the UK newspaper. This year, with the arrival of Kate’s youngest child, Prince Louis, and her daughter Pippa Middleton’s newborn, Arthur, Carole might just add two more trees to her collection.

Traveling to Carole’s Manor for the Holidays

This holiday season, the Cambridge kids will need to travel about 50 miles west of London to reach Carole’s manor in Bucklebury, England. There, they’ll find their doting grandma and grandpa, Michael Middleton, ready to spoil them with love and laughter. But it's not just the Middletons who will have special guests this Christmas. Meghan Markle’s mom, Doria Ragland, has been invited to spend the holiday with the royal family.

According to recent reports, Queen Elizabeth extended the invitation because she didn’t want pregnant Meghan, 37, to spend the holiday without her mom. "It’s a mark of the Queen’s respect for Meghan and an acknowledgment that she doesn’t have any other relations in this country—unlike Kate, who has the support of a very close family," a royal insider told the Sunday Express.

Last year, Meghan joined the royal family for Christmas for the first time and left a great impression on everyone. "It was fantastic. She really enjoyed it, the family loved having her there," Prince Harry said on Radio 4’s Today program. "Together we had a really amazing time. We had great fun staying with my brother and sister-in-law and running around with the kids."

Harry added, "She’s done an absolutely amazing job. She’s getting in there. And it’s the family that I suppose she’s never had." With her mom joining the festivities this year, we can only imagine how much more fun and meaningful the holiday will be for Meghan.
