At 67 years old, Lynda Carter continues to turn heads with her timeless beauty. The legendary star of the classic TV series Wonder Woman recently opened up about her natural approach to aging. Speaking at the God’s Love We Deliver Golden Heart Awards in NYC, Carter confessed to Closer Weekly, “I’m just too afraid of looking different.”
She explained, “I don’t think I’ll ever go under the knife — I am who I am!” While she admits to dabbling in a bit of Botox, Carter credits her fitness routine, which includes working out on a Peloton bike, for keeping her in top shape. But her true secret, she insists, is embracing inner beauty, no matter the number on the birthday cake.

Empowering Women Through Wonder Woman
For Lynda Carter, being a role model extends beyond her outward appearance. As the mother of two, she emphasizes the importance of celebrating the complexity and strength of women. “We’re still full-blooded women with the intricacies we all share and the powerful inner selves we all possess,” she shared. “That’s the essence of Wonder Woman that resonates with people — it’s the person inside of us who is so powerful that we create life. As I like to say, we are the mothers of all mankind!”

Lynda Carter's Legacy: Inspiring Women Through Wonder Woman
Lynda starred as the iconic superhero from 1975 to 1979, and during her tenure, she learned valuable lessons about girl power. “Wonder Woman taught women to be who they are,” Lynda told Closer in a past interview. “I’ve received countless letters from people telling me how she inspired them because she represents the inner strength every woman has.”
Interestingly, Lynda’s hit TV show almost didn’t make it to the airwaves. “TV executives didn’t think there was a market for a woman leading a show like Wonder Woman,” she revealed. “Despite women being the primary purchasers of products, men dominated the shows.”
