Hey there, friends. Here we are again, diving into another round of drama involving Samantha Markle. Meghan Markle's estranged half-sister recently took to Twitter to share her less-than-flattering opinion on Meghan and Prince Harry’s 2018 Christmas card. Now, this isn’t just any card—it’s a unique black-and-white photo from the backside of the couple, taken during their May wedding. And guess what? Samantha isn’t exactly thrilled about it.
Meghan and Harry's Unique Christmas Card Sparks Controversy
For their holiday greeting, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex decided to go with something a little unconventional. Instead of facing the camera, they opted for a behind-the-scenes, backside shot from their wedding day. Now, Samantha Markle had some strong words about it. After Kensington Palace released the photo, she posted her thoughts on Twitter, saying, "Interesting that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have their backs turned. Is this towards the world or just the Ragland and Markle family? It’s a bit sad. Face the Christmas spirit." Oof, that’s a bold statement, right?

Samantha Markle's Candid Thoughts on the Holiday Greeting
Samantha didn’t stop there. In another series of tweets, she expanded on her thoughts: "It’s incredibly rude to turn your back in a Christmas photo that is meant to share warmth and good wishes with the world. Those that criticize me for pointing out the truth need to get that brown stuff off their noses. I hear the world's smallest violin playing." She went on to say, "Turning your backs to people on a Christmas card is rude. If you want to be private, you don’t do it on a Christmas card, but the world sees. That’s like saying Merry Christmas, look at my butt." Talk about blunt!

A History of Tension Between Samantha and Meghan
It’s worth noting that Samantha’s comments come just a few months after she publicly apologized to Meghan and Harry and expressed her desire to mend fences. Back in September, she spoke about her wish to visit London and share her father’s sentiments with her half-sister. She said, "I’ve always wanted to see London, but really I wanted to make the trip and sort of speak the wishes and thoughts and sentiments of my father, and hopefully get a message to my sister. Things aren’t really what they seem. There’s so much misperception. Hopefully, we could clear up the record and move forward with peaceful resolve." But it seems like Samantha’s change of heart might not have lasted long.

At the time, Samantha also mentioned, "I think everybody was hurt at not being included or invited to the wedding. But I felt as though it could have all been nipped in the bud had everyone been included and we all agreed to move forward with positive resolve, and the hurt feelings wouldn’t have snowballed." She then added, almost as if speaking directly to Meghan, "Believe it or not, it doesn’t mean we love you any less." So, what do you think? Did Sam and Thomas Markle even receive the newlyweds’ Christmas card?
