Unbelievable Discovery: Diane Keaton's Lost Wallet Found In A Storage Unit

Diane Keaton's Lost Wallet Found 52 Years Later In NY Storage Unit

Hey there! If you're a fan of Storage Wars, you've probably noticed how often people end up buying junk-filled units. But every now and then, someone gets lucky and uncovers something truly extraordinary. Like, how about finding a legendary actress's lost wallet? That's exactly what happened to one man in Brewster, New York.

Anton's Incredible Find

According to Daily News, Anton Lulgjuraj, a 45-year-old man, purchased the contents of a storage unit from Life Storage in Brewster, New York. As he sifted through the items, Anton stumbled upon a brown leather pocketbook. Curiosity got the better of him, and when he opened it, he was astonished to find a stack of 32 personal photos and a 1966 driver’s license belonging to none other than Diane Keaton. Yes, the very same Diane Keaton who won an Oscar for her role in Annie Hall. At the time, the wallet was 52 years old, and Diane was 72.

Recognizing the Icon

Anton couldn't believe his eyes. "I opened it up and thought, is this Diane Keaton the actress?" Anton recalled. "It couldn’t be. Or maybe it could." The photos he discovered included what appeared to be pictures of Diane as a child. Among the items, Anton also found Diane’s Actors’ Equity card, which expired in 1968. Despite the incredible find, Anton remains puzzled about how the wallet of the Something’s Gotta Give star ended up in a storage unit in Brewster. The unit originally belonged to a man named David Parent, an Air Force pilot who attended Fordham University. His belongings were placed in storage after his passing.

    Reaching Out to Diane

Since discovering the wallet in May, Anton has been trying to contact Diane, but unfortunately, he hasn't received a response—until recently. When Diane learned about the incredible find, she took to Twitter to express her amazement. "This is the craziest story! I don’t remember losing this but I’m not surprised because I’ve lost my wallet many times!" Diane wrote. "Thank you, Mr. Lulgjuraj!"

It's unclear whether Anton will return the wallet to Diane or if she'll let him keep it. But if you're missing Diane on the big screen, don't worry. In 2019, she'll star in a movie called Poms. Here's the synopsis, courtesy of IMDB: "POMS is a comedy about a group of women who form a cheerleading squad at their retirement community, proving that you’re never too old to 'bring it!'"

    Isn’t that just incredible?
