Julia Roberts Opens Up About Her Marriage to Danny Moder
Let’s talk about love, Hollywood-style. Julia Roberts, the ever-charming star, is still head-over-heels in love with her husband of 16 years, Danny Moder. In a recent chat with Extra, Julia couldn’t stop gushing about the incredible life they’ve built together. Now at 50, she’s proud to call Danny her partner and best friend. Their relationship is proof that true love does exist, even in the bustling world of Tinseltown.
Julia shared, “Danny is an absolutely incredible human being. We have so much fun together, and I’m so grateful to have him in my life.” She went on to talk about a romantic Instagram post she recently shared, featuring a beautiful snapshot of her and Danny embracing on the beach. It was a moment that captured their love perfectly, and she couldn’t resist sharing it with the world.

A Moment of Vulnerability
Julia revealed a touching moment when she asked Danny if she could post the beach photo. She admitted, “I was lying in bed with him, and I said, ‘Can I post this picture?’ It’s kind of a new thing for me to even ask that question.” But Danny, ever the supportive partner, simply replied, “Okay.” It’s these small, heartfelt moments that keep their relationship strong and loving after all these years.
In her own words, Julia has found her secret to happiness. In a previous interview with InStyle, she opened up about the joys of family life. “Marry the right person, give birth to a redhead, and have great girlfriends,” she advised, laughing. Of course, the "redhead" she refers to is her 13-year-old son, Phinnaeus, or Finn, who she shares with Danny. They also have twin Hazel, 13, and son Henry, 11. It’s clear that family is at the heart of Julia’s happiness.

Motherhood and Aging Gracefully
Julia also spoke about how motherhood has fulfilled her in ways she never imagined. “All the clichés are true. I’m so proud of my kids,” she said with a smile. But she also joked, “But let’s be real, I tried to carry one of them to bed the other night, and I couldn’t do it.” Parenthood might have its challenges, but Julia wouldn’t trade it for anything.
Reflecting on her career, Julia can hardly believe how much she’s accomplished over the years. Kicking off her journey in 1987 with "Firehouse," she’s become an Academy Award-winning legend. Despite the sometimes harsh spotlight on aging in Hollywood, Julia embraces it with open arms. She told InStyle, “I always love my birthday. There’s nothing different about this one than any other. Why are we still talking about this? Do we ask George Clooney or Brad Pitt about their age?”
