In an exclusive interview with Closer Weekly, Julia opened up about her decision to join the small screen. “I didn’t think of it as the small screen," she said with a laugh. "My TV is very big!”
Julia, who's married to cinematographer Danny Moder, explained that her family life plays a big role in how she approaches her career. "We have three young kids, so I’m super careful about what’s on the TV," she admitted. "By the time we finally do turn it on, I’m usually ready to hit the hay." Despite her busy life as a mom, Julia finds joy in collaborating with her husband. "Danny and I have worked together seven times now," she revealed. "It’s a blast working with him. I don’t know how he feels about it, though—you’d have to ask him!"
