Lucille and Desi’s love story began with a whirlwind romance. Just six months after meeting in 1940, they eloped, embarking on what seemed like a fairytale marriage. Over the years, they welcomed two beautiful children: Lucie in 1951 and Desi Jr. in 1953. However, as the years passed, the cracks in their relationship began to show. By 1960, after two decades of marriage, they decided to part ways, leaving their children—Lucie, nine, and Desi Jr., seven—at the center of a tumultuous divorce.
