Ever since she tied the knot with Prince Harry, Meghan Markle has been absolutely thriving in her new role as a royal, according to her close friend Priyanka Chopra. In a recent interview, the Bollywood star and Quantico lead opened up about her pal, expressing just how proud she is to see Meghan embracing her new life. “She’s doing amazing. It’s so nice to see,” Priyanka told People magazine with a warm smile.
Priyanka and Meghan have been close friends in Hollywood for years, and while their lives have taken wildly different turns recently, Priyanka remains a huge fan of Meghan's timeless elegance. “I’ve always thought she was a super stylish girl. She’s someone that I’ve always looked up to for her style. Always, before she got married. In a separate interview, a palace insider shared that Meghan, now 36, is extremely enthusiastic about her responsibilities as the Duchess of Sussex. She’s wholeheartedly embracing her new role within the royal family and is already making waves with her work. “You could argue that this job is her baby right now. It’s a job she wants to consider every element of and decision for very carefully,” the insider told Us Weekly, highlighting Meghan’s meticulous approach to her new life.
Thankfully, Prince Harry, 33, has been right by her side, guiding her every step of the way. The insider revealed that other members of the royal family, including Queen Elizabeth, Prince Charles, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, Prince William, and Kate Middleton, have also been incredibly supportive. It’s clear that Meghan has a strong support system as she navigates her royal journey.

Earlier this year, one of Meghan’s longtime friends revealed that she’s incredibly excited about her royal position and is determined to make a difference. “There is a lot of work ahead of her, and it takes a really strong person to fill those shoes. This is now a huge platform for Meghan to really get into the activism that she wants to do. She’s really stoked about taking on the role and trying to make change happen,” said Meghan’s pal and makeup artist Daniel Martin.
Another royal insider revealed that Meghan is particularly eager to focus on issues impacting young women and teenage girls. “She’s not going to want to be a quiet princess and simply open hospitals or cut ribbons,” the source explained. “She is familiarizing herself with the landscape in the UK.
