Barbara Corcoran Opens Up About Joining Dancing With the Stars

At 68 years old, Barbara knows she's stepping into a challenge that’s anything but easy. She recalls trying hip-hop dancing on her 60th birthday. "I signed up for hip-hop dancing, went to three classes, and promptly showed the room how not to do it," she laughs. "Then, I decided it wasn't for me and never returned. But here I am, ready to give it another shot, this time on national television!"
Barbara Finds Her Dancing Partner in Keo Motsepe
Luckily for Barbara, she’s not alone in this journey. Enter Keo Motsepe, her professional dancing partner and the rock keeping her grounded in the ballroom. “Keo’s the man," Barbara gushes. "He's the angel that believes in me!" Together, they've formed a team they've affectionately named "Team Sharkeo." It’s clear that their partnership is built on mutual respect and a shared love for dance.
Behind the scenes, Barbara and Keo have been having a blast prepping for the big premiere. In one playful Instagram post, Barbara shared a photo of the two donning matching Statue of Liberty crowns as they explored New York City. She captioned the image, “Showing my Dancing with the Stars partner @keomotsepe around #NYC before practice! #DWTS #DWTS25 @dancingabc.” Her excitement is palpable, and she’s ready to show fans just what she’s capable of. A Balanced Approach to Balancing Life and Dance
Barbara’s life is already packed with responsibilities, but she’s determined to make this work. "I have a business to run, I’ve invested in 42 Shark Tank businesses, and I have an 11-year-old to raise," she admits. "Yeah, I’ve got a lot on my plate. But sometimes, you just have to focus and push everything else aside." Her determination is inspiring, and it’s clear she’s not letting anything stand in her way.
