There’s something about heartfelt reflections that really tugs at our emotions, isn’t there? In a candid and exclusive interview with Closer Weekly, professional dancer Keo Motsepe, the 27-year-old talent who captured our hearts on Dancing with the Stars, opened up about the untimely elimination of his partner, Barbara Corcoran. Keo expressed how much he cherished their time together on the dance floor and how much he wished their journey hadn’t ended so soon.
As we all know, the reality competition show can be unpredictable. Keo and Barbara Corcoran, the iconic Shark Tank star, were paired up for Season 25 of Dancing with the Stars. Their initial performance, a Salsa to "Money Maker," wasn’t exactly a showstopper, earning them a modest score of 14/30 from the judges. Yet, their chemistry was undeniable. Despite their Monday, Sept. 25 exit from the competition, Keo remains grateful for the incredible support from fans throughout their time on the show. He expressed his heartfelt appreciation, saying, “I’m so thankful to the fans for the opportunities and constant support they’ve given me through my DWTS journey and I’m sure Barbara feels the same way.”

Reflecting on Their Time Together
Earlier in the week, Keo and Barbara, who’s 68 years young, performed a Tango to “Whatever Lola Wants,” earning them a slightly improved score of 17/30. Keo reminisced fondly about their time on the show, saying, “Both performances had a memorable twist, but Barbara truly shined during our last dance.” Even though their time on the show has come to an end, Keo believes that other talented couples, like Emma Slater and Drew Scott, could very well be the frontrunners this season. “There are so many talented dancers and celebrities this season… [but] I have to say Emma and Drew’s performance was impressive considering Drew’s injury [this week]. If they keep dancing the way they are right now, they will get far,” he revealed with admiration.

Before the season premiere, Barbara gave us a glimpse into her past dance experiences in an interview with Closer. She admitted to signing up for hip-hop dancing on her 60th birthday, but after just three classes, she realized it wasn’t her thing. “I have a business to run, I’ve invested in 42 Shark Tank businesses, and I have an 11-year-old to raise. Yeah, I’ve got a lot on my plate, but everything waits if you get focused,” she said. Despite her busy schedule, she decided to put everything aside and dive into dancing with Keo, whom she affectionately refers to as “the man… the angel that believes in me!”
Looking Ahead to Future Seasons
Keo was also asked about the possibility of returning to Dancing with the Stars as a professional dancer for Season 26 next year. With characteristic humility, he responded, “Only time can tell, but it would be an honor.” Fans are certainly hoping to see him back on the ballroom floor, bringing his unique flair and energy to the competition once again.
