Harry’s not your typical royal wallflower, either. He's breaking down royal barriers and doing things his own way. During the Invictus Games, he left his official seat to join Meghan, her mom Doria Ragland, their pals Jessica Mulroney, and Markus Anderson, who’s rumored to have played matchmaker in this whole affair. Now, here's something interesting: "This wasn’t the first time Harry met Doria," the same insider told E!. "They actually crossed paths late last year, and now they're as close as family. Doria sees Harry as one of her own, and he feels the same way about her." Their bond runs deep. "Harry has grown close with all of Meghan's closest friends—Markus, the Mulroneys. These are people who have welcomed him with open arms, and he’s really felt their love and protection," the source continued. Meghan's tight-knit circle played a big role in keeping their romance under wraps in the early days. "When Meghan and Harry first started dating, everyone did their best to help keep it a secret. The people Harry is surrounding himself with have already earned their trust," the family friend explained.
During this Toronto trip, Harry, Meghan, and Doria visited Jessica and her husband, Canadian TV host Ben Mulroney’s home for dinner—a common occurrence when Harry is in town. "Ben and Jessica became friends with Harry very early on," the friend revealed. "When Harry first started visiting Toronto to see Meghan, it was Ben and Jessica who had them over for dinners because going out in public wasn’t easy without the risk of getting spotted." That’s dedication, right there.
Oh, and here's a cute tidbit: "Harry’s become close with their children, Brian, John, and Ivy. Ivy especially is a big fan.
