This will naturally require them to spend more time in London. Plus, let’s not forget about the kids—Prince George started school at Thomas’s Battersea in London last September, and Princess Charlotte will soon follow suit. It seems like London is becoming the hub of their family life.

Apartment 1A, the future home of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, underwent a massive $7.6 million renovation back in 2014. Interestingly, this grand apartment has a storied past—it was once home to another iconic royal couple, Princess Margaret and Lord Snowdon, in the 1960s. And guess what? William himself grew up nearby in Apartment 8 with his father, Prince Charles, his late mother, Princess Diana, and his brother, Prince Harry. It’s almost like history repeating itself!
