"I was sick of it, and I knew that other people were sick of it too," she told Closer Weekly. Reflections on Her Transformation
Kirstie shared that she used to avoid looking at herself in the mirror. "I like to catch a glimpse of myself in the mirror and say, ‘Wow, you still look cool.’ That wasn’t happening. I really didn’t look cool or sexy or anything—I thought I just looked fat," she admitted. "I was setting myself up to fail. I would think, ‘I’m going to lose this weight and then I can eat anything I want.’ It was a recipe for disaster."

Living Life to the Fullest
"I’m much more alive today. I’m more outgoing and can be more daring! I’ve been approaching people and telling them I want to work with them. I’m active, I’m in life again, I’m in motion!" Kirstie explained. It’s clear that her newfound confidence is not just about the numbers on the scale—it’s about how she feels and how she’s embracing life.
When it comes to her diet, Kirstie has found a balance that works for her. "I now only eat one Jenny Craig meal per day, and the rest of my meals and snacks are on my own. But I also have my Jenny Craig consultant, so if I feel like I’m going off track, I just call her and she gives me some tips and a pep talk," she told People.

The Power of Knowledge
"I can have anything I want [to eat], I’m just counting the calories. I know how many calories 6 oz. of tenderloin is. I know that pasta is 200 calories in a cup," she said. "So as long as I keep steady that way, and count it up, it’s easy to count because I know how many calories those foods that I really love are." Kirstie’s approach shows that knowledge truly is power when it comes to maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

Staying Fit and Active
Kirstie has also increased her workout sessions to stay fit. "I started becoming a lot more physical. It depends on the weather and where I am, but I have different workouts I’ll do. If I’m in Florida or Kansas where it’s flat, I’ll get on my bike and ride to my friends’ houses," she said. "If I’m in a place that’s cold, I don’t like gyms, but I’ll go to dance classes. I also like yoga. I try to do that three times a week—pick one of those and do that."
One thing is for sure, Kirstie looks absolutely fabulous, and her journey is a testament to the power of perseverance and self-love.
