Hey there, music lovers! Let me tell you something that’s truly exciting. Legendary music icon Loretta Lynn, whose career has been nothing short of remarkable, is currently being celebrated at the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville. The exhibit runs until August 5, 2018, and it’s a must-see for anyone who appreciates the heart and soul of country music.
Loretta Lynn: A Life in Collectibles
Let’s dive into what makes this exhibit so special. Michael McCall, the museum editor at the Hall of Fame, shared some fascinating insights with Closer Weekly. He said, “Loretta has been such an incredible collector of her own life.” It’s no surprise, really. At 85 years old, she’s got a lifetime of treasures to share. One of the standout items? Her trusty sewing machine, which has been a part of her journey for decades.

Loretta Lynn Shares Her Excitement for the Exhibit
Loretta herself couldn’t be more thrilled about the exhibit. She said, “I am so happy the Country Music Hall of Fame has asked me to be one of their main exhibits in 2017… gonna show off my 50 some odd years in country music.” And with all the memorabilia she’s collected over the years, she joked, “They best have a big space…I have a lot of stuff!” It’s clear that she’s proud to share her life and music with fans through this exhibit. As she put it, “Y’all come see us!”
Overcoming Adversity: Loretta’s Stroke Recovery
Back in May, Loretta faced a setback when she suffered a stroke and was hospitalized. The news was tough for her fans to hear. According to a statement at the time, “American country music legend Loretta Lynn was admitted into a hospital in Nashville last night after she suffered a stroke at her home in Hurricane Mills, TN.” However, the update was hopeful: “She is currently under medical care and is responsive and expected to make a full recovery.”
Thankfully, Loretta’s brother Herman Webb shared some positive news with Closer. He said, “She can talk, and Loretta told me that she thought she’s going to be OK.” It’s clear that Loretta’s determination to get back to singing is strong. Herman added, “She seems to be coming along pretty good.” He emphasized that music is “all she lives for,” and with her current progress, it’s likely she’ll return to the stage sooner than we think. “She’s doing really good — that’s the main thing!” Herman shared.
