You know you’ve made it when your life becomes the inspiration for a movie, Broadway show, or even a musical aired on the radio. That’s right! If Meghan Markle needed any more confirmation that she’s living her best life, here’s a fun fact: the BBC is all set to air a musical version of her life on the radio. How cool is that?
This musical is going to zoom in on the life of the Duchess of Sussex and condense it into a quick 15-minute slot. That’s a lot to fit into such a short time! From her days as a star on Suits to walking down the aisle with Prince Harry, Meghan’s journey has been nothing short of extraordinary. And while you might think that’s a lot to cram into 15 minutes, the broadcaster assures us that it will be a classic “Rodgers and Hammerstein”-style musical. If the name Rodgers and Hammerstein doesn’t ring a bell (time to hit up Wikipedia), they’re the legendary duo behind some of the greatest musicals of all time, like Oklahoma! and The King and I.
A Musical Spotlight on the Duchess

The musical, titled The Sixth in Line to Be King and I, is set to be a comedy. Meghan will be portrayed by the talented British comedian Pippa Evans, who is renowned for her improvisational skills. Scheduled to air on BBC radio on New Year’s Day, this musical promises to be a lighthearted and fun take on Meghan’s life. While Kensington Palace wasn’t consulted on the content, it’s safe to say they’ll be okay with it, as long as there’s no drama involving Kate Middleton or Queen Elizabeth.

What’s Next for Meghan?
The next few months are shaping up to be big for Meghan. She’s recently moved into Frogmore Cottage, is expecting her first child in May, and may even make a cameo on Suits—though, let’s be honest, don’t hold your breath for that last one. Regardless, it’s an exciting time for her, and fans are eager to see what’s coming next.
