Earlier this week, Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones’ son Dylan Douglas, who's just 18, playfully hinted at his readiness to join the royal family in an Instagram post that's got everyone smiling. On Tuesday, August 7, Dylan posted a photo of himself and his sister, Carys Douglas, 15, posing as if they could easily be mistaken for Queen Elizabeth’s grandchildren.

In a playful caption, Dylan joked, “Just a young guy looking for princesses @theroyalfamily. Hook me up! Or take my sister, at least I would get to go to a royal wedding.” The photo featured Dylan and Carys looking absolutely stunning—Dylan in a military uniform and Carys in a chic black dress accessorized with a luxurious fur shawl. Their poses and outfits left fans convinced that they could pass as royalty in a heartbeat.

In a recent conversation with CNN, legendary singer Elton John opened up about his experience attending Harry and Meghan’s wedding at Windsor Castle in mid-May. He described it as “very, very wonderful.” Elton went on to say, “To have a black gospel choir, a multiracial bride, a black cellist, who was wonderful, a preacher — it felt like a party. And it felt like progress had been made. Thank god, thank god.”

Elton added, “To be at the first multiracial royal wedding in Britain — amazing. I think the Queen had a lot to do with it. I think she’s been magnificent. It was a wonderful thing to be at.” His words captured the joy and inclusivity of the event that resonated with many around the globe.
