Well, folks, it’s finally happened! The beloved Dancing with the Stars duo, Valentin Chermkovskiy, 32, and Jenna Johnson, 24, are officially engaged. On June 14, the couple made the exciting announcement on Instagram, sharing heartwarming photos of Valentin's romantic Italian proposal. "I can’t wait to make you my wife ♥️," Valentin captioned a sweet picture of himself on one knee, with Jenna looking absolutely stunned. It's clear that this moment was nothing short of magical for the couple.
Jenna, too, couldn’t contain her excitement. She wrote on her Instagram page, "I knew the moment I met you, you were the man of my dreams and I wanted to be with you forever." Her message continued with a heartfelt expression of gratitude, calling Valentin "Babychka Мой любовь" and thanking him for making her fairytale come true. Jenna even added a playful hashtag, "#engaged," to emphasize the joy of becoming fiancés. This is truly a dream come true for both of them.

A Perfect Day in Venice
Valentin ensured that the day leading up to the proposal was nothing short of perfect. The couple was on Day 2 of their romantic getaway to Venice, Italy, and they made the most of it. From indulging in fresh gelato to savoring authentic Italian pizza, they explored the city’s rich history and art. They even had the chance to admire some of Leonardo Da Vinci's iconic works before strolling through Venice’s picturesque canals. And then, in front of a scenic café, Valentin got down on one knee and asked Jenna to be his wife. While we haven’t yet seen the engagement ring up close, we do know it’s from the luxurious Jacob & Co. Can life get any better than this?
Two Years of Love
The couple has been together (on and off) for over two years, but it seems Valentin has had marriage on his mind for a while now. Back in May, when a fan account posted a sultry video of Jenna dancing, Valentin playfully commented, "I should def put a ring on it." Jenna herself hinted at the possibility of an engagement during an interview with ET, saying, "Time’s a-ticking! We’ll see [if engagement is in the cards anytime soon]. We both have very big things happening right now, so we’ll let that ride over… maybe we’ll go to Fiji!" Little did she know that Venice was the destination where her dreams would come true.
