You don’t even know who you are," she revealed. Mariah admitted that her pregnancy was difficult, but she was largely on her own during that time. "I was alone most of the time. We love Nick, but he’s working. He’s the hardest-working man in show business," she explained.

During a 2013 appearance on Watch What Happens Live, Mariah joked about the idea of having more children. "If Nick could have the babies himself, then yeah, bring [on more children]. We love kids," she quipped. But she also acknowledged the weight of parenthood. "Here’s the thing — [parenthood] is real. I’m responsible for the kids for like forever. I look at it like, they didn’t ask for this lifestyle but here they are," she said.
Mariah and Nick: A Post-Marriage Partnership
Unfortunately, Mariah and Nick parted ways after six years of marriage in 2014. Reflecting on the split, Mariah shared, "I never thought I would have babies with someone and then get divorced. Like, 'Oh, great job. Repeat your past.'" However, she added, "But life happens. And it was supposed to happen. It’s fine. For [my kids], I wish it hadn’t happened that way. For me, it was… too much, too little, too late. Guess it’s over. Call it a day."
