Somehow, I manage to spend quality time with my grandchildren and family while running my businesses, writing, and pursuing my acting career,” Jane confided to Closer Weekly. Her Latest Venture: Aromatic Fragrances

One of Jane’s latest projects involves creating two new fragrances, His Open Heart and Her Open Heart. “I have this beautiful organic garden in Malibu where I grow everything from fragrant roses and lavender to fruit trees and pine,” she shared. It’s a passion that dates back to her childhood when she would create her own perfumes, inspired by her mother, who had her own cosmetic line, Miss Lavender, in Indonesia before World War II. Jane’s mom, Mieke, was Dutch but later lived in Indonesia, where she endured life as a prisoner in a Japanese concentration camp during the war. Despite the hardships, Mieke’s resilience and wisdom have left an indelible mark on Jane’s life.
