Join Me For Dinner At Jennie Garth's House!

Jennie Garth Doesn't Include Anything From a Box or Can in Her Diet

Hey there, friends. Let's imagine we’re heading over to Jennie Garth's house for dinner. You know, the former star of Beverly Hills 90210? Well, she recently opened up in a new interview about her roots in Illinois and how her childhood on a farm has shaped her family's approach to food. It’s fascinating stuff, and I think you’ll love it.

Here’s what Jennie, who’s now 45, had to say in an exclusive chat with People: “I just don’t buy anything that’s in a box or a can. We cook every night, and we focus on fresh, healthy, and clean eating.” Can you believe that? No processed food in her house! It’s like she’s bringing the farm-to-table movement right into her kitchen.

Now, California is a world away from the rural Illinois where Jennie grew up. But that hasn’t stopped her from getting creative with her family’s meals. “We don’t have a ton of land, but we’ve got this incredible garden tower. It’s like a vertical garden, and it’s absolutely amazing,” she explained. “We grow tomatoes and other plants, and I’m always the one popping vitamins like crazy.”

Speaking of families, Jennie and her ex-husband, Peter Facinelli (they were married from 2001 to 2013), have three daughters: Luca, 19, Lola, 14, and Fiona, 10. And guess what? In 2015, Jennie tied the knot with Dave Abrams. Life’s been quite the journey for her!

Passing Down Values to the Next Generation

Jennie shared more about her upbringing and how it influences her parenting today: “I have three girls, and growing up on a farm in Illinois taught me so much. I learned the importance of having a garden and growing your own fruits and vegetables. It’s something I want to share with my kids and pass along to others.”

Curious about what she said in another interview? Jennie revealed she’d “love to have more kids with Dave.” She mentioned, “We’d be happy with just one more. But honestly, we’re also super content with the girls we already have. Whatever comes our way, we’re ready for it.”

And let’s talk about Dave for a second. He’s never been a dad before, but he’s taken on the role of stepfather to Jennie’s girls with ease. “He deserves so much credit for that because it’s not an easy job,” Jennie admitted. “He’s done it so seamlessly, and I couldn’t be prouder of him.”

So, if they do have another baby, that little one is going to have one of the healthiest diets out there. Can you picture it?
