Well, folks, it’s time to celebrate! Princess Madeleine of Sweden is expecting her third child, and the royal family couldn’t be more thrilled. The 35-year-old princess, along with her husband, Chris O’Neill, shared the exciting news on her official Facebook page earlier this week. In a heartwarming message, Madeleine wrote, “Chris and I are thrilled that I am expecting. We look forward to our family of four becoming five!” Talk about a joyous occasion, right?

Let’s take a trip down memory lane for a moment. Princess Madeleine and Chris O’Neill, who met in 2010, tied the knot in a stunning royal wedding back in June 2013. The lavish ceremony took place at the Royal Palace chapel in Stockholm, Sweden, and it was the stuff fairy tales are made of. Since then, the couple has been blessed with two adorable children—Princess Leonore, who’s now 3, and Prince Nicolas, who’s 2. Their third bundle of joy is expected to arrive in March 2018, adding even more sparkle to this royal family.

A Royal Family Growing Stronger

Chris, who’s 43 years old, has been nothing short of open about his desire to expand their family. Earlier this year, during an interview with the Swedish newspaper Expressen, he revealed just how much he and Madeleine are looking forward to growing their family. “We want to have more children. Both of us want a big family. One or two more in the future, absolutely!” he said. And Madeleine herself chimed in last year, sharing her experience as a “normal mom” raising her two kids.

“It’s pretty much like being a normal mom,” she told People magazine, giving us a peek into her daily life. “They wake me up, and we fix breakfast together. Breakfast usually ends up flying all over the place! Then we head out to the park, where we swing and try to keep Leonore busy—she’s full of energy, so we have to keep her stimulated and entertained.” Sounds like a day in the life of any parent, doesn’t it?

Not Alone in Expectation

Interestingly, Madeleine isn’t the only one in the Swedish royal family expecting a new addition. Her older brother, Prince Carl Philip, and his wife, Princess Sofia, announced earlier this year that they’re expecting their second child in September. They’re already parents to a lively 16-month-old son, Prince Alexander. Meanwhile, Madeleine and Carl Philip’s eldest sibling, Crown Princess Victoria, and her husband, Prince Daniel, are proud parents to two kids—Princess Estelle, who’s 5, and Prince Oscar, who’s 1. Talk about a royal family on a roll!
