It’s truly gut-wrenching to hear about the loss of a loved one, and that's exactly what Buddy Valastro, the star of TLC’s beloved show Cake Boss, is going through right now. Buddy recently shared some deeply emotional photos on Instagram that captured the essence of his late mother, Mary Valastro.
On Thursday, June 27, Buddy posted a couple of touching photos from his mom Mary's funeral. These pictures showcased the Valastro family’s iconic Carlo’s Bakery in Hoboken, NJ, which was beautifully adorned with an array of flowers. Outside the bakery, there were two flower boards that read “#1 Grandma” and “Mama Mary.” One floral arrangement even replicated the entrance of Carlo’s Bakery, paying homage to Mary's legacy.

She always had a song on her lips and made sure we were taken care of,” Ralph wrote on Twitter, expressing the profound impact Mary had on everyone around her.
Earlier in the week, the official Instagram account for Carlo’s Bakery announced that all Valastro family bakeries would be closed on June 27 to mourn the passing of Mary Valastro. “Thank you in advance for your understanding. Normal business activities will resume Wednesday, June 28, 2017,” the heartfelt message concluded.
